Digital Media Manager

Chacka Marketing is seeking talented individuals to join our team as a Digital Media Manager, reporting to a Digital Media Director.

 

This individual will be responsible for managing Marketing Specialists and Coordinators to ensure that all digital media deliverables are presented on time and of a high quality.  The Manager will be instrumental in developing strategies, planning, and ensuring proper implementation of digital marketing programs to meet and exceed client goals.  
 
A successful Manager will be revenue-minded, have an entrepreneurial mindset and be passionate about our client partners' success.

Operational Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee a team of Digital Marketing Specialist and Coordinators

  • Lead day-to-day planning and execution of paid media marketing channels including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, shopping and others

  • Develop a deep understanding of each clients' business in order to customize digital marketing strategies and then execute against those plans

  • Assign resources, track progress, assist in execution and consistently plan programs through supervision of Specialist(s) and/or Coordinator(s)

  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen Chacka’s client relationships to promote retention and further development

  • Create strategic initiatives & optimization efforts that achieve client goals and objectives

  • Effectively present strategic and tactical plans to clients, staff and internal teams

  • Monitor and analyze performance reports to ensure account pacing relative to budgets and targets

  • Employ analytical ability to extract insight/actions from data and relate the “story” back to the client’s business goals

  • Facilitate and manage forecasting, budgeting and pacing, campaign creation and optimization

  • Stay apprised of emerging media and technology, constantly seeking new opportunities

  • Implement testing initiatives in key areas such as ad creatives, landing page messaging, landing page layout, audience segmentation, placements, networks, and 3rd-party tools

  • Manage the relationship with the media channels, and technology partners

 

 

Organizational Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in the organization’s education program, both as teacher and student

  • Responsible for meeting Organizational revenue targets quarterly

  • Responsible for ideating means by which revenue targets can be met quarterly

  • Monitor the latest trends in digital media, including advertising formats, channels and emerging technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services

  • Monitor the impact of digital media campaigns, analyzing and reporting on effectiveness internally on a weekly basis.

  • Identify ‘client wins’ on a regular cadence and showcase those successes in the form of blogs, white papers, case studies, etc.

  • Motivate and develop all members of his/her team, identifying and capitalizing on team member strengths

  • Embrace, nurture and reinforce the organization’s core values and services

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 3-4 years’ experience in digital advertising

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or related field

  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills are a must

  • Previous management experience is desired

  • Demonstrated expertise in paid search marketing and/or paid social advertising is required

  • Possess a basic understanding of all digital media disciplines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Possess solid organizational and leadership capabilities

  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through

  • Knowledge of 3rd party tracking and serving technology related to SEM (Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick, Adobe, Acquisio, etc)

  • Success executing complex, large scale, fast-moving campaigns flawlessly

  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills

  • Expert-level Excel and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills

  • Strong desire and ability to think creatively solve problems and use professional judgment

  • Must be results-driven, enjoy problem-solving and passionate about being challenged

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Google, Yahoo, Bing and/or Facebook paid management tools

  • Possess a drive to work independently and the communication skills to work as part of a thriving team

  • Must be a team player willing to provide support where needed with other miscellaneous projects and planning

  • Active Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads, Kenshoo or Marin Software Certification is a preferred
