Ad Operations Specialist 

Chacka Marketing is seeking an experienced Ad Operations Specialist to join our growing team.  This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day trafficking and management of digital campaigns.  The role will requires daily interaction with client partners and internal teams to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of all advertising campaigns.

To be successful in this role, the individual will require extremely high attention to detail, possess strong analytical and time management skills and also highly proficient with ad technologies like DoubleClick Campaign Manager.  This role will report into the Director of Programmatic Media. 

Operational Responsibilities:


  • Manage and traffic campaigns in DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM)

  • Obtain digital campaign specifications from client partners and internal media strategist

  • Coordinate implementation of ad-serving (trafficking), rich media, and all other advertising related to digital media

  • Test and perform quality assurance for ad tags and creatives to ensure specifications and ad serving requirements are met

  • Monitors campaign delivery and provides daily, weekly and monthly reporting (as required)

  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot and coordinate resolution for all ad or tag related technical issues

Organizational Responsibilities: 


  • Participate in organization’s education program, both as teacher and student

  • Monitor the latest trends in digital media, including advertising formats, channels and emerging technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services

  • Embrace, nurture and reinforce the organization’s core values and services





  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or related field

  •  1-2 year's experience using DoubleClick Campaign Manager

  •  Extensive ad server experience with DCM is a must

  • Prior formal DCM training and/or certifications strongly desired

  • Working knowledge of attribution theory, and attribution reporting in DCM

  • Knowledge of 3rd-party data collection protocol, event tags, and floodlights

  • Understanding of rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ads units

  • Familiarity with HTML and/or JavaScript

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Detail oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be results driven, enjoy problem solving and passionate about being challenged

  • Possess a drive to work independently and the communication skills to work as part of a thriving team

  • Must be a team player willing to provide support where needed with other miscellaneous projects and planning
