Account Development Manager

Chacka Marketing is seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Account Development Manager, reporting to the VP Digital Media.

This individual will be the primary client liaison on select accounts and oversee all aspects of the client relationship including the health and growth of the account, the timely execution of account projects. In coordination with Digital Media Directors, Managers and Specialists who strategize, plan and execute digital programs, this person will focus on strengthening long-term client relationships for key client accounts, while articulating value and promoting mutual growth.

A successful Account Development Manager will be a great communicator, with excellent project management skills, have an entrepreneurial mindset and be passionate about driving results for clients and for Chacka.

Operational Responsibilities:


  • Serve as a key strategic point of contact for key client accounts, as the point of escalation for the management team, and owns accountability for the health and growth of the client relationship.

  • Ensure achievement of client and company goals regarding successful campaign management, product quality, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction.

  • Own and strengthen primary agency relationships from executive C/B-level down

  • Develop deep understanding of each clients' business in order to effectively manage cross-channel projects

  • Responsible for coordinating internal meetings with strategic channel experts and account stakeholders in order to execute against a collaborative, strategic plan.

  • Build compelling, data-driven long-term plans

  • Participates in establishing business plan objectives with strategic stakeholders and determines standards of performance

  • Effectively present strategic plans to clients and internal teams

  • Monitor and analyze performance reports to ensure account pacing relative to budgets and targets

  • Employ analytical ability to extract insight/actions from data and relate the “story” back to client’s business goals

  • Facilitate and manage new client onboarding, forecasting, budgeting and pacing

  • Stay apprised of emerging media and technology, constantly seeking new opportunities

Organizational Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver against assigned quarterly targets on new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding sales experience to Chacka’s top client partners

  • Grow agency business via scalable product adoption and business growth across the broader portfolio of agency accounts

  • Support new business efforts

  • Be an ongoing thought partner for Digital Managers on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning

  • Participate in organization’s education program, both as teacher and student

  • Responsible for ideating means by which revenue targets can be met quarterly

  • Monitor the latest trends in digital media, including advertising formats, channels and emerging technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services

  • Identify ‘client wins’ on a regular cadence and showcase those successes in the form of blogs, white papers, case studies, etc.

  • Embrace, nurture and reinforce the organization’s core values and services





  • 3-4 years’ experience in client services

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or related field

  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills are a must

  • Working knowledge of paid search marketing, paid social advertising and/or programmatic display, certifications are a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Possess solid organizational and leadership capabilities

  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through

  • Exemplary written and oral communication and presentation skills

  • Expert-level Excel and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills

  • Strong desire and ability to think creatively solve problems and use professional judgment

  • Must be results driven, enjoy problem solving and be passionate about being challenged

  • Possess a drive to work independently and the communication skills to work as part of a thriving team

  • Must be a team player willing to provide support where needed with other miscellaneous projects and planning
